Overview

The XCMG XGTC30L5 (commonly shortened to XGTC30) is a 30-ton telescopic crawler crane developed by XCMG for demanding foundation-construction environments. It combines high lifting performance with a compact transport envelope and strong site adaptability, and is mainly used for plant construction, bridge erection and foundation work.

The model is available in three configurations: Weichai standard, Yuchai, and the battery-electric XGTC30L5-E.

Model Advantages

  • Strong lifting performance: in a typical foundation condition, 34.2 m boom at 14 m radius lifts 5.6 t — stated by XCMG as more than 7% above comparable machines.
  • Wide working range: 10.8–42 m five-section main boom, 9 m fixed jib and up to 51 m combined boom length.
  • Efficient power: the standard version uses a 221 kW Weichai engine, 3 km/h travel speed and 140 m/min hoist speed.
  • Economical transport: transport width under 3 m and maximum single-piece transport weight of 30 t.
  • Site adaptability: graded counterweight lifting and small-angle lifting for muddy or low-clearance working areas.

The manufacturer describes this model as one of the industry’s best-selling telescopic crawler cranes. That statement is a manufacturer marketing claim.
