Overview

The XCMG D360 is a hydrodynamic, electronically shifted crawler bulldozer. According to XCMG, it carries forward the company’s established product quality with stable, reliable performance. It is intended for excavation, backfilling and earth pushing on road, railway, airport and river-work sites, and XCMG describes it as an indispensable machine for national defence projects, urban construction and water conservancy work.

The machine uses intelligent control, limit-load control, hydraulic pilot blade control, electronic gear shifting and construction data management. Note that the D360 uses a hydrodynamic (torque converter) driveline, which is a different architecture from the hydrostatic drive of the XCMG D260H.

Specifications — Standard and Desert Configurations

XCMG publishes a separate detail page for each configuration, and the figures differ, so they are listed separately rather than merged.

Additional Published Parameters (Dealer Source)

An XCMG dealer site publishes a wider parameter set for the D360. Because these values come from a dealer rather than xcmg.com, and some differ from the official China figures, they are listed on their own.

Known differences against the official China page: ground pressure 97 kPa versus 86/79/73 kPa, and overall length 9,090 mm versus 6,760 mm, which is likely a difference in whether the ripper is included. A separate export listing gives 8,650 × 4,130 × 3,760 mm. These figures have not been merged into the official table above.

Key Features

Standard configuration

  • Simple, comfortable control: a 10-inch touchscreen colour display with a Chinese-language HMI shows engine parameters, travel status, gear position and fault alarms on the main page; secondary pages give controller and engine ECU status, fault diagnosis, working hours, average fuel consumption and maintenance data.
  • Strong, controllable power: the Chongqing Cummins M14 electronically controlled engine meets China Stage Ⅳ non-road emission requirements. Variable power control offers two modes — 258 kW economy mode and 269 kW working mode — switched to match the load, cutting fuel use while keeping power available.
  • Efficient driveline: electronically controlled gear shifting, a single-stage single-phase three-element torque converter, and a power-shift planetary gearbox with three forward and three reverse gears.
  • Comfortable cab (positive-pressure cab optional): a spacious cab with a wide view, a roll-over protective structure as standard, and dual-lever controls.

Desert configuration

  • Chongqing Cummins M14 electronically controlled engine meeting China Stage Ⅳ, with dual power modes for low overall fuel consumption.
  • Configurable for desert, mine and power-plant conditions, with optional 360° surround view, 3D grading system and remote control.
  • High-end cab with an extra-wide view and large interior, suspended seat, dual-lever control, and an integrated roll-over / falling-object protective structure as standard.

Applications

Excavation, backfilling and earth pushing on road, railway, airport and river-work sites; national defence engineering, urban construction and water conservancy projects. The desert configuration additionally targets desert, mining and power-plant work.
