Overview
The XCMG XCA1000G9-1 is a 1,000 t class all-terrain crane positioned for high-rise lifting in urban construction. Its nine-section, 114.5 m main boom covers residential building heights and the heights needed to assemble and dismantle tower cranes on building sites.
The crane uses a twin-engine layout with a new-generation electro-hydraulic energy-saving control system for low average fuel consumption during superstructure work. It can be configured with 9-, 8- or 5-section main booms, three superlift deployment angles, three outrigger span combinations and three on-load counterweight positions, and it accepts wind-power, fixed jib and luffing jib boom variants.

Key Features
- Long boom, wide job coverage — a nine-section 114.5 m main boom with more than a hundred working configurations, covering residential building heights and tower-crane assembly work.
- Flexible configuration — 9-, 8- or 5-section main booms, three superlift angles, three outrigger span combinations, three on-load counterweight positions, and wind-power, fixed jib or luffing jib boom options.
- Full-function wireless remote control — covers the main crane motions (hoist, luff, slew, telescope, superlift and tower boom), auxiliary motions such as counterweight raising and repositioning, cab tilting and pin insertion, plus chassis outrigger and suspension operation, engine control and lighting.
- Heavy-duty travel — the crane can travel carrying its complete boom, superlift equipment, front and rear swing-out outriggers, spare wheel and spare-wheel bracket on heavy-duty axles and 505/95R25 tyres, which XCMG states raises relocation efficiency by 80% and reduces the need for transport trailers.
- Automated boom handling — boom luffing and telescoping and tower-rope reeling are automated, and the luffing jib raises and lowers automatically, saving 30 minutes per preparation and shutdown cycle and lifting efficiency by more than 40%.
- Common parts — the hook, some counterweight blocks and parts of the lattice boom structure are shared with the XCA700 and XCA900L8, reducing purchase cost.
Applications
Urban high-rise lifting, residential building construction, tower-crane assembly and dismantling, and wind-power lifting.
